There are many benefits to choosing Seal King Professional Sealcoating. One of the most notable reasons why clients prefer us over other contractors tends to be the quality time of our application process. Our professionals are thorough and never miss a step in the sealcoating process. Ultimately, this leads to longevity of the product and a really nice job well done. At Seal King, it’s all about our process!
- Power Edging – Prepping the area around the asphalt is vital. Before we touch your asphalt, we make sure that it is ready on the perimeters. Obviously, we don’t want grass encroaching on the driveway, causing cracks and creating a hole or divot in your asphalt. So, we will generally take a weed eater and remove grass that is touching the asphalt.
- Power Edge Cleaning – Have you ever swept your kitchen floor and then walked on it? Often times there are still spots. This is a lot like cleaning asphalt. There is always going to be leftover. It is important to do a thorough job cleaning the edging so that your sealant will completely adhere to your asphalt – not the dirt on top. This is why using a Shindaiwa and industrial strength blower on the edges is beneficial.
- Power Sweeping & Blowing – Our special machine will essentially scrub the driveway so that our sealant will easily adhere. Using the Shindaiwa rotating brush and blower will help to clear it and make it completely ready for treatment.
- Oil Spot Treatment – Before we begin the process of sealcoating, we rid your asphalt of the oil spots that may have been left by a car. This is so our product will correctly adhere to your asphalt, giving you ultimate protection.
- 400° Rubber Crack Filling – This crack filler is melted right at the side of the asphalt and turned into a liquid. We put these in the cracks for filler so that these fillings are good for 4-5 years. Once these cracks are filled, they are essentially waterproof, protecting the base layer of the driveway.
- 400° Joint Filling – Our material that is applied into the cracks and holes of your asphalt contains no water and therefore, will not shrink and be perfectly placed into your asphalt. Store products or contractors looking to take shortcuts will use less capable products filled with water which will eventually shrink.
- Driveway Edging Brush – We detail every edge, keeping it uniform and smooth so that your driveway shows no brush marks or doesn’t dry unevenly.
- Professional Seal King Sealer – Our sealer is consistently mixed in a 600 gallon bulk tank so that you will have the best longevity and sealant with our products.
- Brush Application – We always start at the top of the driveway so that the end result is consistent and looks professional. Our professional applicators have done thousands of driveways and can make your driveway beautiful.
- Barricade Driveway – Giving it time to dry and settle is important. We will block off the driveway until it is safe for use again!
